I did some tree cutting at a private house in Setagaya. Driving a diesel truck through the streets of Tokyo gives me a strange sense of comfort, as if I’ve become part of a giant machine.
My aunt’s funeral was held, but I couldn’t attend. Summarizing someone’s life and memories in text feels uncomfortable to me, so I won’t do it.

世田谷の個人邸で木の伐採をした。東京の道をディーゼルのトラックで走るのは、巨大なシステム歯車になった気分になって妙な安心感がある。
親戚の叔母さんの葬式があったが、出席できなかった。故人との思い出を、ましてやその人生をテキストで総括するのは違和感を感じるのでやらない。
