Today, I had a landscaping job close to home, so I was able to get back by around 3 PM. I went to the diner near the west gate and ordered a vegetable stir-fry set meal. It’s cheap, the portions are generous, and the taste is spot on. Way better than places like Hidakaya. Lately, I’ve been thinking that the only real advantage of chain restaurants is that they’re open at odd hours.

今日は植木屋の仕事が家の近くであったので、午後3時頃には帰宅できた。西門の定食屋に行き、野菜炒め定食を注文。ここは安くて、量もたっぷりで、味も申し分ない。日高屋なんかより断然良い。チェーン店の唯一の利点は、変な時間でも営業していることくらいだと最近思う。
