I took the Chuo Line to Koenji to buy some clothes. It’s the same line I used to take every day in middle school, but the view from the train window has changed. I’ve always dreamed of living somewhere east of Musashi-Sakai along the Chuo Line, but as I walked through Koenji today, the vibe of the place felt a little off from what I’d imagined. I withdrew 50,000 yen from the ATM at a convenience store, but I ended up spending only about 15,000 yen.

中央線に乗って高円寺に服を買いに行った。中学生の時に毎日使っていた路線だけど、電車の窓から見える景色は変わっていた。昔から、中央線沿線の武蔵境より東側に住むのが一つの夢だったけど、今日歩いた高円寺の街は自分の温度とは少し違うように感じた。コンビニのATMで5万円下ろしたが、結局1万5000円位しか使わなかった。
