I worked as a landscaper in the pouring rain and got home around 2 PM. After that, I spent about an hour in the sauna at Sagami Bathhouse, then watched the movie ‘The Beach’. It’s the kind of film where the protagonist might give their thoughts at the end, with a storyline that contrasts the wild character of the protagonist with a surprisingly serious script. I’m craving a movie that leaves me speechless, making me wonder, ‘What did I just watch?’

大雨の中植木屋の仕事をして、午後2時頃に家に帰ってきた。相模浴場のサウナに1時間程入ってから「ザ・ビーチ」という映画を観た。主人公かエンディングで感想を言うような映画で、主人公の破天荒なキャラクター設定とは裏腹に真面目な脚本だった。もっと観終わった時に何を見せられたんだ⁈と言葉を失わせるような映画を観たい。
