It’s the rainy season, and when the weather doesn’t clear up, my mood tends to get cloudy as well. It’s surprising how much my feelings are influenced by the weather. I wish I could hop on a plane and escape above the clouds. Today, I spent some time thinking about where to go for summer vacation. Flights to the U.S. are ridiculously expensive. The Maldives and Spain were surprisingly affordable, but considering the cost of staying there, I’d like to keep the airfare under 200,000 yen. Thailand seems like a safe choice, but if I’m going to travel, I’d rather go to a country I haven’t been to yet.

梅雨だ。天気が晴れないと、気分も一緒に曇ってしまう。自分でも驚くくらい天候に気分が左右される。飛行機に乗って雲の上に行きたい。夏休みの旅先を今日は考えていた。アメリカは航空券がベラボーに高い。モルジブやスペインは意外と安かったが、現地での滞在費も考えると、航空券は20万円以下に抑えたい。無難にタイも良いかなとも思ったけど、せっかくなら行ったことがない国が良い。
