Even though the cicadas haven’t started singing yet, the temperature supposedly reached 34 degrees today. But since I go to the sauna almost every day, I’m used to the heat. Some people say that winter is easier because you can just layer up to stay warm, but you can’t do that in summer. However, there are endless ways to cool down—like pouring water over your head or buying an ice cream at the convenience store and pressing it against your neck. That’s why I prefer summer over winter. I had a McShake this afternoon.

まだ蝉が鳴いていないのに、今日は34度まで気温が上がったらしい。でも日々サウナに入っているので、暑さには強い。冬は服を重ねて寒さをしのげば良いけど、夏はそれができないから辛いという人もいるが、頭から水をかぶったり、コンビニでアイスを買って首筋に当てたり、無限に手段はある訳で、僕は冬より夏が好きだ。昼にマックシェイクを飲んだ。
